This simple card trick is very cool. All the spectators I had when I performed this trick were simply amazed.
Here’s how to perform it :
Step 1 – Ask a person from the spectators to select seven cards arbitrarily without seeing the faces. Place the remainder of the deck to one side, and fan the selected cards (seven) out in your hands. Ask the person to choose one. Tell him to keep it in his mind and place it back in the center of the pack of seven (should be the fourth card).
Step 2 – Square the cards up and point him out the bottom card. Ask him if that is the card and he should say that it’s not. Put it face down on the board and go on with the next card. Again, ask him if that is the card and he should say no. Put it face down beside the first card.
Step 3 – Now we get the third card. Again ask if that is the card and they will say no. In this time you should slide it down a little and get the chosen card. Put it face down.
Step 4 – Place the four left cards someplace in the deck, just not on top.
Step 5 – Get the cards (placing the chosen card in the center). Show him the first card and ask him again if that is the chosen card. He will say no. Slide this card down and take the center card (the chosen card) out and place it face down.
Step 6 – Mix the two cards requiring a spectator person to tell you when to hold. When he tells you ask him if the bottom card is the chosen card, followed by the next card.
Step 7 – Shuffle the cards while keeping them on the table. Ask a person from the spectator to indicate to two of them. Then ask the person to indicate one of the two cards. Flip the two that are not the chosen card first. Then flip the chosen card and they will be shocked.
